We have implemented our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Sustainability Policy - a framework that reinforces our commitment to ethics, sustainable development and a positive impact on the communities in which we operate.
More than a corporate guideline, the ESG Policy is an invitation to all of us to become aware and engaged. It integrates our strategic and operational decisions with the principles that guide our company: respect, responsibility and innovation.
Our commitment to the future
The ESG Policy is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and guides our actions on three fundamental pillars.
Environmental:
- Monitor the generation of liquid effluents to ensure that they are properly treated and disposed of;
- Monitoring the factory's priority atmospheric emissions;
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and legal requirements, beyond the minimum legal margin;
- Ensuring the correct disposal of waste generated, avoiding the use of landfills.
Social:
- Promote actions to raise awareness and encourage improvements in the quality of life of employees;
- Maintaining training, integration and standards to promote a safe and healthy working environment;
- Guarantee and respect human rights in Prodiet's operations.
Governance:
- Ensuring Prodiet's equality in tendering processes;
- Ensure the dissemination of Prodiet's Code of Ethics to all hierarchical levels of the company;
- Monitor suppliers and service providers to prevent legal, contractual and socio-environmental infringements;
- Implement Prodiet's Innovation Center and disseminate the culture of innovation in the company;
- Evaluate to improve dialogue channels with the local community and measure impacts.
