* Maltodextrin from tapioca has a slower absorption, a factor responsible for the reduction of postprandial insulin release. Diamax® is the only formula that carbohydrate source is composed by 100% tapioca maltodextrin

* Diamax provides a modulation of inflammatory response because of its proper ratio W6:W3 of 5,6:1.

* Studies show benefits provided by soy protein to the body of the diabetic. It is recommend the substitution of part of the protein from animal source to the protein isolated from soy. Diamax is formulated with 50% protein from animal source and 50% soy protein.

* It has been proposed that the supplementation of carnitine improves fat oxidation saving endogenous carbohydrate. Diamax protein source contains 1% of L-carnitine.
